Meet the Short Course Team

The management of UWC short courses sits within the remit of the Education in the International Office which is made up of three people. Radha Pillay manages the whole team, whilst  Agnieszka Ziemba is the Educational Support Coordinator and Designated Safeguarding Lead at the International Office and supports the safeguarding side of short courses.  Sylvi Wirtjes is the Academic Coordinator and works on the development of short courses along with Faima Ramirez Hirschauer, General Coordinator of the Short Course Development Initiative. Most of your communications will be from Sylvi and Faima.

Sylvi and Faima are responsible for directing the endorsement process for courses, supporting short course organisers with planning and running their courses, organising networking and training events for organisers and interested parties, and building new partnerships in order to scale-up the reach of UWC short courses.
